The Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS) has named The Health Information Exchange Formation Guide its 2011 Book of the Year. I have not yet purchased the book due to its high price. HIMSS publishes the book so I am sure it is high quality, but HIMSS likes to price things extravagantly high because they think everyone has corporate expense accounts and they have to protect their lofty ego. Expect to pay $78.00 or $65.00 (if you are a HIMSS member. It is not yet available on Amazon or other online book sellers.
