The National eHealth Collaborative has just published the paper “Health Information Exchange Roadmap – The Landscape and a Path Forward” – April 2012.
The paper gives a good perspective on the potential for health information exchanges and how Meaningful Use and HITECH incentives have really jump started the movement. Great progress has been made to support the formation of HIEs and to ensure that benefits to patients become a reality.
