Axway (Paris:AXW) and GE Healthcare, a leading health information exchange software provider announced today that the Health Information Technology Exchange of Connecticut (HITE-CT), the state designated Health Information Exchange (HIE), has selected its combined solution for HIE. The selection includes Axway’s business-to-business (B2B) architecture and GE Healthcare’s Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) clinical Registry and Repository provider.

The Health Information Technology Exchange of Connecticut (HITE-CT) was created by Public Act 10-117 (codified CGS 19a-750(c)(1).
