The Camden Health Information Exchange (HIE) is a web-based technology that offers Camden city and regional healthcare providers access to important medical information for Camden patients. The HIE facilitates sharing of detailed clinical data among the primary hospitals, physician practices, laboratory and radiology groups in Camden, along with regional hospitals and healthcare institutions. As a result, healthcare providers will have the clinical information they need about their patients at the immediate point of care, which will reduce unnecessary duplication and foster improved care coordination.
