Hoag has launched a Health Information Exchange (HIE) Program – the Hoag HIE.
Hoag is a not-for-profit regional healthcare delivery network in Orange County, Calif. that treats nearly 30,000 inpatients and 350,000 outpatients annually. Hoag consists of two acute-care hospitals, seven health centers and a network for more than 1,300 physicians, 5,000 employees and 2,000 volunteers.
CalHIPSO is one of 62 federally-designated Regional Extension Centers around the country and provides REC services to all of California except Los Angeles and Orange County. CalHIPSO is made up of ten Local Extension Centers (LECs) around the state that bring health information technology (HIT) expertise to local communities.
The Fund for Public Health in New York, Inc. is dedicated to the advancement of the health and well-being of all New York City residents. FPHNY works with the NYC Health Department to develop innovative, valuable and lasting public-private partnerships that increase the capacity and reach of the NYC Health Department. It is the FPHNY that was established as on of our nationwide regional extension center programs.
The NYC Regional Electronic Adoption Center for Health (NYC REACH) was formed as a collaboration between the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Fund for Public Health in New York to help make sure doctors in New York City don’t get left behind. Their mission is to assist providers in adopting technology and methods that measurably improve the health of New Yorkers.
